We were born into a world at war with an enemy that hates us. Through trauma and ” wounding” we are driven further from our true identity and the core longings that only can only be met in an intimate relationship with God.
We commissioned this drawing as a representation of the struggle between our flesh and the Spirit who longs to reconnect us with our heart and the heart of God. Our “isms” are simply an effort on our part to anesthetize the pain of that separation.
Our hope lies in the fact that Jesus will heal those broken places and restore us into communion with Him. Steve provides an explanation and an example of how that played out in his life.
